Basil Pesto Paneer Sandwich


I had this awesome sandwich, on the Indigo flight to Pune. Indigo has in my point of view the best assortment of foods and beverages. Basil Pesto Paneer sandwich was one among them.
Fresh basil pesto mixed with fresh homemade cottage paneer makes it a sandwich to die for. Its served cold along with ketchup or some may dressing.
Basil Pesto Paneer Sandwich


Ingredients:
3/4cup Basil Pesto
100gms Cottage Paneer
50gms Mozzarella cheese
1tbsp Chilly flakes
1tbsp Oregano
8-10 Sandwich bread slices


Procedure:
  • Cut the Paneer in small cubes. 
  • Take a bowl add in Basil Pesto + Mozzarella cheese + chilly flakes + Oregano + paneer cubes.
  • Take bread slices apply 1tbsp full of basil pesto and paneer batter on one slices.
  • Place a bread slice on top of it.
  • Do the same with remaining bread slices.
  • Serve with ketchup or cheese dip.

Veg Club Sandwich

Sandwiches are a all time favourite snack of anyone and everyone. You can have it in breakfast or in supper along with soup or wine. It tastes great and forms a great appetizer.

Veg Club Sandwich
Ingredients:
12 slices of Bread
3 medium sized Potatoes (Mashed)
1 small sized green Capsicum (finely chopped)
1tbsp Mayonnaise
1tbsp Cheese spread (or grated Mozzarella cheese 50gms)
1 medium sized  Tomato
1medium-sized Onion
1medium-sized Cucumber
Salt to taste
Black Pepper powder to taste
Oregano to taste
Chilly flakes to taste
2tbsp butter
Few leaves of Iceberg Lettuce (Chopped)

For Cheese Dip:
100gms of Cheese (Mozzarella cheese)
1cup milk (boiled milk)
Salt
White Pepper Powder

Procedure:
To make the Club Sandwich
  • Take a bowl add in chopped capsicum + onion + potato.
  • Mix in mayonnaise + cheese spread in it.
  • Add in salt + black pepper powder + oregano + chilly flakes.
  • Mix all this well. Keep it aside.
  • Cut onion + tomatoes + cucumber into thin slices. Mix in chopped Lettuce in it.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper. mix well. Keep it aside.
For assembling the sandwich:


  • Pre-heat the oven on grill mode for 15 minutes at 180 degree Celsius
  • Take a slice of bread, spread butter. 
  • Spread 1tbsp of potato mixture over it.
  • Sprinkle some seasoning.
  • Place another bread on top of it. Spread butter.
  • Place 1 slice of tomato + cucumber+ onion + lettuce.
  • Sprinkle some seasoning.
  • Place another piece of bread.
  • Do the same with the remaining bread slices.
  • Place the sandwich in the oven.
  • Grill it till its done from both sides for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with cheese dip.
To  make the cheese dip:
Cheese Dip
  • Take a blender, add in cheese + milk + white pepper powder + salt.
  • Blend it well.
  • Cheese dip is ready to serve.

Street style Club Sandwich

This sandwich inspired by a sandwich I used to have in Bhopal. This one is quiet famous among the Bhopalites.
A very simple but a very tasty recipe.
Street style Club Sandwich

Ingredients:
12 Bread Slices

For the Potato Mixture:
3 medium sized potatoes
1/2 cup green peas
1 small-sized onion
2 green chilies
Salt to Taste
1tsp Cumin Powder
1tsp Coriander Powder
1tsp Red chilly Powder
Fresh Coriander

For the other layer of the sandwich:
3tbsp Mint and coriander Chutney
7-8 slices of cucumber
7-8 slices of tomato
250gms mozzarella cheese
Salt to taste
Chilly flakes
1 medium-sized onion
1tbsp butter
2tbsp refined oil (to toast the sandwich)

Procedure:
For the Potato Mixture:
  • Peel the potatoes. Mash them well.
  • Add in onions + peas + green chilies + salt + cumin powder + coriander powder + red chilly powder + coriander. 
  • Mix all this well. keep it aside.
Assembling of the Sandwich:
  • Take a bread slice spread butter over it. Now spread 1tbsp full of potato mixture over it.

  • Spread evenly if required you can add more potato mixture.
  • Now spread 1 tbsp of cheese over the potato mixture.

  • Place a bread slice over it.
  • Spread 1 tbsp full of mint and coriander chutney over it. Now put a slice of cucumber and tomato over it.
  • Spread some cheese over it.
  • Sprinkle salt + pepper + chilly flakes over it.
  • Place another bread slice on top of it.
  • Heat oil in a pan, toast the sandwich in it from both the sides till it turns golden in color.
  • Serve hot with Ketchup.

Veg Grilled Sandwich

Sandwiches are my favourite among all the snacks and appetizers. Its so handy you can enjoy it while watching a movie, wrap it in a tissue and have it while you on your way to office or school.

Ingredients:
6-8 Bread Slices
1 medium-sized onions (Finely chopped)
1 medium-sized carrot (Grated)
1 medium sized Capsicum (finely chopped)
1/2 cup Cabbage (Finely chopped)
2 tbsp Mayonnaise (Egg less)
100gm Mozzarella Cheese
Salt to taste
1 tsp Basil
1 tsp Oregano
1 tbsp chilly flakes
1 tsp White Pepper powder
Black Pepper to Taste
1 tbsp Butter

Procedure

  • Chop all the vegetables as Onion + capsicum + Cabbage Finely Chopped
  • Carrots (Grated)
  • Take a bowl put in all the vegetables. Then add in the Mayonnaise
  • Mix it well.
  • Add in the grated Mozzarella cheese. Along with all the seasonings (salt + pepper + oregano + basil + chilly flakes)
  • Mix all this well.
  • Now a take a bread slice, apply butter on both the open sides of the bread.
  • Then spread 1 tbsp full of the mixture on one bread slice, then place the other one over it.
  • Grill this sandwich in a sandwich maker for 10  minutes.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or wafers or french fries.
Note: The quantity of Mozzarella Cheese can be differed according to taste you can make it as much cheesy as much you want to.

chutney wala sandwich!!!

This is a very time saving recipe for bachelors, for early morning breakfast and for kids who come back from play in the evening hungry yelling "mummy give me something to eat quickly."!!
Ingredient which is found in every home always. so here is very tasty recipe for all you guys out there...

Ingredients:
1 medium sized tomato
1 medium sized cucumber
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Butter
Coriander Chutney
Bread Slices

Procedure:

  • Cut tomato and cucumber in round shapes.
  • Now, take bread slice spread 1 tbsp of chutney on one side and 1 tbsp of butter on the other.
  • Now sprinkle some salt and pepper on the slice which has butter.
  • Now place 2 slice of cucumber and 2 slice of tomato on the slice which has chutney on it.
  • Again sprinkle some salt and pepper over it. place the slice over it.
  • Sandwich is ready.
Note: 
  • You can even use ketchup in place of chutney in case you don't like chutney.
  • Salt and pepper is strictly on your taste.

Potato and Cheese Sandwich...

Sandwich is a food item consisting of two or more items of bread. It is a gr888 breakfast meal for children as well as the adults.
We make Potato sandwiches at home. but this is with fresh cheese...

Ingredients:
8 slices of bread
3 boiled potatoes (mashed)
100gms cheese (grated)
1 medium sized onion (chopped)
2 green chillies (chopped)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chilly flakes
1 tsp oregano herb
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
1 tbsp butter

Procedure:

  • Take a pan, heat the oil in it. 
  • Add the chopped onions, and green chillies + the ginger paste.
  • Saute till the onions changes color.
  • Now add in the mashed potatoes.
  • Mix it well.
  • Add in the salt + cumin powder + oregano + chilly flakes
  • Add in the grated cheese.
  • Mix all these well.
  • Cook for 5 minutes. then remove it from the stove
For the Sandwich


  • Take 2 slices of bread.
  • Apply butter on both of them on one side each.
  • Now take the potato mixture, put it in between the bread. make it like a Sandwich.
  • Grill it in a sandwich maker.
  • Do the same with the remaining slices.
  • Serve hot with Ketchup
