Baileys Irish Cream

I once had this drink at my friends place and from that day I just got carried away by this one.. I guess the best  drink  one can have. Buying this drink in India becomes little difficult, so I decided to find out a solution to this. Before sharing the recipe let me tell you what exactly a Baileys Irish Cream is. Its an Irish whisky and cream based liqueur.  It can be drunk all by itself or it can be added to deserts, coffee, cocktails and so on and so forth.
The flavour is so captivating that you just cant go with one. The recipe is so simple and all the ingredients are easily stocked in your homes always...
As its an Irish drink so you need to have Irish whisky but I used Chivas tat also tastes great.

Baileys Irish Cream 

Ingredients:
1cup Fresh Cream
400ml Condensed milk
1 1/2 cup Whisky (any preferably Irish but I used Chivas Regal)
1/2 cup Dark Rum
1tsp Instant Coffee
1tsp Vanilla Extract
2tsp Chocolate Syrup



Procedure:
  • Combine all ingredients together and blend it in a blender.
  • Bottle in a tightly sealed bottle. 
  • Refrigerate it.
  • Can be stored for 2 months.

Blue Lagoon

Blue Curacao is a blue colored sweet liqueur which is used in cocktails to enhance the colour and taste. This is made from the dried peel of oranges.
This liqueur can be purchased from a good departmental store.

Ingredients:
20 ml Blue Curacao Liqueur
60 ml Vodka
1.5  tbsp sugar syrup
1.5 tbsp lime juice
300ml Club Soda
Crushed Ice
1 lemon slice to Garnish

Procedure:

  • Take a cocktail shaker, pour in the Blue curacao liqueur + vodka + sugar syrup +lime juice. 
  • Shake it well.
  • Take a cocktail glass, add in the crushed ice , then pour in the liquid from the cocktail shaker.
  • Pour in the soda. top it with crushed ice.
  • Garnish it with lemon slice.
  • Serve chilled.

Bay Breeze...

Saturday Night goes well with cocktails and some light snacks. So here I am posting one of it from my cocktails recipes what I made today.
all you need is:

Ingredients:
8oz Pineapple Juice
3oz of Vodka
1 tbsp of lime juice
1 tbsp sugar syrup
Lots of Crushed Ice
Fresh Mint Leaves to Garnish
Cherries or Strawberries

Procedure:

  • Take a Cocktail shaker, add in the pineapple juice + vodka + lime juice + sugar syrup.
  • Shake it well till all the ingredients are mixed together.
  • Now take a cocktail glass add in the crushed ice (half of it) + half of strawberries or cherries (whatever you are using)
  • Then pour in the drink in it.
  • To garnish: put some mint leaves + strawberries or cherries and some crushed ice on top of the glass.
  • Serve chilled.

Virgin Mojito... With White Rum

This drink can be made both with white Rum or with flavoured Vodkas. It tastes awesome with orange flavoured Vodka... trust me on that...
 Serves : 4









Ingredients:
4 limes quartered
8 tsp sugar
12 mint sprigs
120 ml white Rum
80 g crushed ice
600 ml club soda
4 lime slices to garnish

Procedure:

  • Take 4 glasses.
  • Put one-quarter lime, two tsp sugar and 3 mint sprigs in each glasses.
  • Muddle them at the bottom of each glass
  • Add 30 ml of white rum in each glass.
  • Add 20g of crushed ice in each glass
  • Top it with 150ml of club soda in each of them.
  • Garnish with lime slice and few mint sprigs.
  • Similarly prepare the remaining glasses. 

Virgin Sangria... with Red Wine

These drinks can be served in parties... i made this cocktail for my guests... and they loved it..
U can always make it alcohol free also if u are a non-drinker. that recipe is also posted in my blog..

Virgin Sangria

Serves 4

Ingredients:
500 ml Apple juice.
120 ml Red wine (light)
4 apples (finely chopped)
2 tbsp orange juice
2 oranges (peeled. de seeded and chopped)
100 ml lemon juice
crushed ice

Procedure:
  • Take a pitcher.
  • Add in the Red wine + Apple juice + Orange juice + chopped apples + chopped oranges +lemon juice.
  • Mix it all well.
  • Keep it in the refrigerator for an hour or so.
  • Pour into glasses and top it up with crushed ice.
Serve chilled
