Boondi Raita

One of my favourite raitas... can be accompanied with various dishes like bhindi, biryani, pulao etc...
Its a most popular North Indian raita which is liked by one all. Its very simple to make this one...

Ingredients
1 cup yoghurt
1/2 cup boondi
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp black salt
1 tsp garam masala powder
Normal salt to taste
1 tbsp tamarind chutney
Water

Procedure:

  • Take a bowl add in the yoghurt + salt + jeera powder+ garam masla powder + red chilly powder + tamarind chutney.
  • Take a whisker and whisk the cud well.
  • Now add in  some water. again mix it well
  • Put in the boondi.
  • Raita is ready to serve
